RAMPARTSYNOPSISGreat Story Line
Digitally Re-Mastered on DVD This is a Fictional story with the exception of the opening News statement by the News Caster (Calvi Pabon), about the San Jose Mercury News reporting that a Law Suite was filed alleging that U.S. failed to investigate 'Crack Epidemic'. (Article 61 of 282, Article ID: 99003210089 - Published on 3/16/99, San Jose Mercury News) This story is about a Pimp named Andre, A.K.A. (Dre) who decides to start selling drugs to increase his income. Dre comes to the conclusion that the Crack Cocaine he's selling is destroying his community and decides to get out of the dope game. Dre tells Yogi (Kevin Deen), the person he's buying the crack from, that this will be his last purchase due to the fact that it is destroying peoples lives. Dre does not know that Yogi is working with some bad cops, helping them to put the Crack Cocaine on the streets of L.A. Yogi informs his business partners and they set Dre up to get busted during his last Drug buy. Dre goes to jail for Three years and gets out. Once Dre is out of jail and back on the streets the bad Cops start pressuring Dre to go back into the drug business. Dre refuses to go back into the drug business, but continues to Pimp with the assistance of his call girls Kenya (Jennifer Easton), Tonet (Cynthia Sanders), Lorrie (Kerry Liu), Vanessa (Debra Hood).
